During the past four years, Palm Springs has made huge progress in sustainability, becoming one of the greenest cities in the state. I initiated a Sustainability Master Plan, and today this document guides staff and Council on efforts to further this initiative.
Each year we release a Sustainability Report Card. This helps us review progress and stay on track. And this also ensures that the City doesn’t create a Master Plan that just sits on a shelf.
I’m also proud of many of the new private developments and improvements to City facilities that are already in place and saving taxpayers money.
